What is LunaWake?
LunaWake is a bedside hardware system paired with the Luna App. It senses contact-free signals, shapes light and sound around a wake routine, and remains usable locally even when the app or network is unavailable.
Why is it different from a regular alarm clock?
LunaWake combines contact-free sensing, physical controls, light and sound, and a configurable wake window. It is built around observable signals and deterministic device behavior, not diagnosis or an always-on conversation.
What if I am awake but not fully up?
The device follows the current state of the night and responds to physical controls, sensing events, and the configured wake window. The app presents summaries and configuration; it does not replace the device controls.

How does it work without wearables?
It uses bedside radar and environmental sensing to observe contact-free signals such as movement and breathing-related patterns. No ring. No watch.
Does it still track sleep?
It records the signals and events defined by the current interaction state machine, primarily to support local behavior and a morning summary rather than an endless metrics dashboard.
Can it wake two people?
The current hardware is designed for one sleeper closest to the device. Reliable multi-person separation is not a supported capability.

Does LunaWake use a camera?
No. LunaWake is designed without a camera. Its microphones support passive acoustic sensing only, not voice commands, text-to-speech, or conversation.
Do you keep voice recordings?
The microphones are used for passive acoustic sensing, such as room noise and snoring or speech events. There are no voice commands, TTS, or conversations.
Is it a medical device?
No. It is a consumer wellness product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent disease.

What does the app do?
The app is used for setup, preferences, configuration, and morning summaries. It is not a replacement for the physical controls, and the device is designed to continue its core routine locally if the app or network is unavailable.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Core functions work locally. Features such as updates and backups need Wi-Fi.
What phones are supported?
The planned app experience supports iOS and Android.
